1) He went on vacation almost immediately upon entering office, then several times after that, then had the gall enough to claim his administration didn't know anything about terror threats when the 9/11 commission was formed, ignoring the fact that both FBI and CIA personnel on several occasions during his extended vacations had tried to inform his people, if they would have just informed one another something could have possible been done.

2) We went into Afghanistan, and were still going after the persons we went in there after.

3) He lied about the reasons for going into Iraq, were stuck there now.

4) Thanks to his administrations actions in the middle east we have racked up a national debt which 7 years ago was projected as being actually a surplus.

5) Gas prices, ok, this is his buddies in the oil industries fault, but if you must blame someone he's a good place to start.

the list goes on.

I don't think the US was ready for a president that was going to stand his ground. My only complaints are I don't think he has dealt well with taxes and hasn't held true to his promises on SSN.

Unfortunately...no child left behind is not doing well because the teachers and schools are so screwed up and worried about testing that the kids are now losing the flexibility needed to really get a good education. I still think the idea is a good one and has helped in some areas of the country.

I wish he was more decisive about closing the borders or making immigration work better also.

Well #1 - he is the leader of the most powerful nation in the world yet he continues to abuse his power by continuing to bully other nations. One would think with all his power and money he would be making positive contributions.

#2 - he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer - he seems unconcerned about global warming - does not seem to care about future generations of the planet

#3 - he not only lies sometimes, but all the time

#4 - and of course all the conspiracy theories - I am not sure if it because of the power of the internet - but I have never seen so much distrust for any American President.

because he does whatever he wants to do. He thinks more like a dictator than a president. He tries to cover up his inadequacies by going to war. He doesn't care about the troops or he would have them return after 1 year of service instead of letting them serve indeterminate amounts of time in iraq. His past shows that he didn' t show any moral or ethical character. He supports family values but his daughters are alcoholics and drug users just crying for his help.
There are many more hipocracies that he has shown but the rest is too depressing to show plus my hands are getting tired.

Here are some reasons :

the phony way the country was conned into the war, the thoroughgoing bungling and corruption of America's occupation of Iraq that is resulting in so many Americans and innocent Iraqis being killed and maimed, the stagnant economy and its horrific effects on the put-upon middle class, and the organized corporate looting and personal immorality in the GOP era of government.
