You could be late if you are under stress. It is the most common cause of being late besides pregnancy. Take the test, you need to know asap. You need a doctor right away and pre-natal vitamins to make sure you have a healthy baby.
Here are some of the things to look for:
tender breasts, darkening of the nipple area (areola)
tired, sleepy
fullness in pelvic area
dark circles under eyes,
nausious or queezy feeling. You may get this feeling that only food will take away.
heaviness in your legs
a good overall feeling or uphoria

These are a few that may fo unnoticed. Some women get no signs or very few in the first 3 months. That is why you should take the test in the privacy of your own home. It is just a little early though. You may have to wait at least another week. Look on a pregnancy test as to when it is right to take it.
Good Luck and think possitive always

Honey, what do you mean you're "too scared" to get a pregnancy test? What are you afraid of?

You're 8 days late. That's pretty late. If you have a history of regular cycles, then you need to find some courage and find out what is happening with your body.

Some women throw up on the first day of a missed period. Some women don't have a clue they're pregnant until weeks and weeks have gone by. It's different for EVERYONE, and different EVERY time.

Going back to the courage thing, you need to respect yourself and your body enough to be vigilant about its health. You may be pregnant, which means there are a whole lotta choices about your body that you need to make NOW. You may not be, which means you need to decide if you just miscalculated the date or if there is something wrong.

If you aren't too scared to be having sex, you absolutely shouldn't be too scared to handle the aftermath. Pregnancy tests are cheap and you can pee on the stick in private. You can also go quietly into a Planned Parenthood for a blood test, which is usually even cheaper.

You can now get tests that can be done 4 days before your period, they are digital and cost the same as a normal test, on sale in the UK, not sure where you are. But to be honest, l don't know each month if l'll be right on time to the day - or 10 days late. You can't always tell with signs because if you are waiting for your period then you are well and truly hormonal already - sore breasts, pressure on the bladder, cravings, moods swings, heat sensitivity etcetc. That's why so many women have no idea they are pregnant until at least 6 weeks. If you can't bare to wait, pop to the doctors or get a test that can be done now, at least you'll know and you can stop fretting. Good luck!.

ok, I have only had 1 baby, so I'm not an expert, but, I am happy to share my experience... I fell pregnant during a difficult time in my marriage, so I didn't want to be pregnant, so at the time, I didn't notice the signs, but looking back when i found out I was (9 weeks pregnant), I realised that I had gone off my favourite foods, couldn't handle the smell of coffee. I wanted lots of attention, but wanted to be alone at the same time. I wanted to have everything clean around me, but couldn't be bothered to get up and clean. I was very difficult, but loving towards my partner at the same time. I felt very disconnected from myself. However, these were all emotional signs, the physical signs were more along the lines of, my breasts started to change colours, (i got blue and red veins showing) and I started to get tingles in my belly. There are no hard and fast rules on what the signs are, but the only way to know for sure is to take the test. Who knows, you may be worrying yourself into this state. Sometimes, worrying about your period will make it stay away for longer. Good Luck and let us all know how you go!!

first portion of do is call him. in case you haven't spoken in 3 weeks then it really is plausible that he's wondering the position you're. the 2d step is to ask him if he's attracted to every person. If he says he has met someone then which will be a tip to move on. the reality of the placement is in case you merely come out and tell him that you miss him and ask how he feels about then you definitely you would merely get an answer. The worst ingredient that would ensue is that he says that he received't like you. nicely, the ingredient is that he wasn't you boyfriend firstly, so your no longer loosing something. you'll nonetheless have your buddy and who knows, you would merely finally end up with a boyfriend. The worst portion of do isn't something in any respect. then you'll under no circumstances understand. once you've a mutual buddy then it really is alright to have them ask, even if the most proper way is continually to address this stuff your self, that way there is not any confusion. don't be afraid, i'm no longer the most eye-catching lady interior the international, yet i visit allow you to do not ignore that my boyfriends have all been especially knock down, drag out dazzling. I were given them because i change into their buddy, or maybe as issues were given somewhat tempting I merely presented it up in communication. It did not continually paintings, and typically it damage to take heed to, yet I were given over those that weren't into me in record time because I knew the reality. desire this enables.

I experienced tender, swollen breasts, had a little pain in the left side of my abdomen (quite like the pms pain), was sensitive to smells and my basal temperature remained high after the ovulation.. I also had vivid dreams!!!

You may also have fatigue, implantation bleeding some where around 7 -12 days after the ovulation, nausea or vomiting, abdominal bloating.

You are right abt some pregnant women not getting any signs.. would definately recommend a HPT.

It's totally normal to have missed or late periods. It's pretty early to see any change in your body if you are pregnant. You're best bet is getting a pregnancy. If you are too scared to...i'd say wait another week and if you still haven't gotten it than go get a test.

signs that you could be pregnant: sore or tender breasts, nausea, vomiting, moodiness. weight gain, being tired.

You are 5 days late, have evidently had unprotected sex. Go to the store and get a pregnancy test! Then take your next step from there. At least you will know!

The only way to find out is to take a pregnancy test or go to a Dr. The time to be scared was when you had unprotected sex, now now. Now it may be too late.

get a test. They are five bucks at the drug store. I think you are pregnant. Have you been using protection? Go to the doctor. While you are at the doctor get the aids and all the other STD tests done. You and your baby's health depend on it. If you think you are old enough to have sex then you need to be old enough to act responsibly. If you are not pregnant count yourself lucky. Repeat after me "NO LOVE WITHOUT A GLOVE!"
