The first thing to do is to take them to a certified reptile vet to check for parasites.

Things you can do at home
* seperate them so they both get equal access to food.
* Add benebac to their diet. You may have to look for it in the bird section of your petstore (it's the same product as the reptile version). Benebac helps the digestive tract.
* Offer different foods, not everyone likes the same things.

babies devour plenty, yet adults devour plenty too!! babies can not proceed to exist sand, yet i do no longer agree that Adults can. Sand isn't cautioned because of the fact while the beardies hunt and devour, they could accidently get a mouthful (or basically a sprint) of the sand, and that they not often can pass it. it may reason a block (referred to as impaction) and this could kill them. It many times takes place greater with babies than adults, yet can nonetheless ensue to adults. i think of as long because of the fact the beardie you get is healthful, parasite loose, and is fed the main remarkable weight loss plan and stored at maximum remarkable temperatures, it somewhat shouldn't rely no rely if this is an grownup or a sprint one - the two are quite hardy and should no longer "die for no reason" sub adults may be a good selection, because of the fact they're already started out, yet no longer thoroughly grown yet so possible watch it advance. basically bear in mind that inspite of what lifestage you have chose to get a beardie from, they require rather some area so which you will desire to get a brilliant tank, and you will could desire to spend plenty on kit (they choose a good warmth lamp and a good UV gentle source) and that they devour crickets - rather some them.

This happened to me. I got two brothers and Loki grew normally, Smaug stayed fairly thin. I took them both to the vet, who is a reptile specialist. She told me that they both had had metabolic disease and told me how to adjust their diet to help. Smaug did die from not being able to metabolize nutrients propertly, the disease was too far along to save him, but I was able to save Loki (who is doing just fine)

Anyway, I suggest you take both of your babies to the vet - must be a reptile specialist. You are looking at $150-200 vist for both of them to have a check up.

If your skinny beardie does have metabolic disease like mine did, the sooner you get it in, the better the change to save it.

PS.yes, there will be slight differences in related dragons when it comes to size, but if one is noticabley thin, you most likely have a heath issue.

because i think the healtheir one is not letting the thinner one eat. if there different sexes then u have to get them each a cage to make them happy. or if there female and male, they could just not get along. and still have to get two different cages.

many times you do have to seperate them because one gets more food then the other. Even as young babies they show this kind of behavior.
