just wondering what some of the theories are out of curiosity

If you take matter and crush it, it becomes plasma. If you crush plasma, it becomes energy through fusion, if you crush energy it becomes gravity and there you get a sigularity which was before the big bang. If you decomress everything in order, you will end up with matter at the end.

there was a show on tv about a new theory called 'the theory of everything'.. according to it, matter is fundamentally made up of little strings of energy which is very small. the accumilation of it made matter. but the origin of the strings is still not clear cut.
but, according to me, matter and anti matter were created simultaneously.(here you can assume that anti matter is the absense of matter... the same way that darkness is the absense of light.) as matter, and the absense of it are comparative. (without anti matter, there is no matter , and vice versa). that was how it was created.

Honestly there is no definite answer to your question. Personally I believe that God made everything. He is the creator and all.
