Check that all the water hoses are still connected. Our car was maintaining a slightly high temp and we found out the hose to the runoff bottle was disconnected.

If it is losing water then you should check for a pin hole leak in one of the hoses or possibly the radiator. If not, you should have the radiator checked to see if it is scaled inside blocking the water flow. Another possibility is to have the electric cooling fan checked for proper operation.

check your water pump, the electric fan motor, check for leaks (look for water on the engine around to see if your head gasket, thermostat gasket, is leaking, hose clamps, look for white smoke in the exhaust indicates that the head gasket is leaking and coolant is getting into the cylinder,

THE OLDER THE VEHICLE THE MORE THE MOTOR GETS A BUILDUP INSIDE AND SO DOES THE RADIATOR. YOU COULD HAVE THIS YOU NEED TO HAVE THE FLOW CHECKED ON THE SYSTEM . ALSO YOU HAVE SENSORS FOR YOUR COOLANT FANS THAT COULD BE A PROBLEM. HAVE THEM CHECKED

i had the same problem with my car. there might be hard water deposits inside the radiator or radiator hose. you should prolly replace them. or just get your radiator flushed. sometimes that works.
