i've been thinking bout getting one, but i had 2 questions. first off, how hard is it to get in and out? and secondly, id hafta take it out for 4-5 hrs a day while i worked...would that amount of time lead to it closing up, or would it still be good as long as i put it right back in afterwards.

After getting it pierced, you need to wait about 3 months for the piercing to fully heal. Even after it is healed eyebrows have a high migration and rejection rate and constant jewelry changes (not hard) can irritate it and cause these problems.

If you cannt wear it for work then seriously consider the importance of your job. YOu have a last resort of being pierced with a quartz retainer, but you would need at least a 12gauge so that there is a lower risk of snapping the retainer inside your body.

I had my eyebrow pierced and waited about a month/month and a half before I took it in and out. It was very easy and I did it on a daily basis to change it to match my clothes - didn't hurt at all, slipped in and out in a jiff.

I wouldn't recommend taking it out for 4-5 hours on a daily basis until you've at least had it in for close to two months, perhaps even longer.

well im not sure how hard it is to get in and out. but they have clear retainers for piercings to keep them open (if your job allows that, most jobs dont though, cause you san still see it) If you did take it out for that long of a period of time it would close up since it is a fresh wound and your body would want to heal it..... it would close up VERY quickly. thats why when you get pierced thay say to keep the jewelry in for a period of time in order for it to heal properly and so it wont close up when you remove the jewelry.

just dont get it if you have a job that doesnt allow facial piercings, it will be too much to deal with

and switching around your jewelry alot may irritate it, cause infections, and take longer for it to heal...

after it heals it will be fine to take it out for that amount of time but when it is a fresh piercing you shouldnt take it out like that, you will risk it closing back up.
