It is not the Olive oil Directly on your skin, it is the oils you get from eating olives that help your skin, putting it on directly will clog pores

Hi there! You cannot use olive cooking oil on your skin!!!! you'll clog your pores. You need to use top grade virgin oil that can be used on the skin. Such olive oil is usually more expensive than those you get off the supermarket racks. Plus there are some 'adulterated' olive oil for the skin in shops which is not 100% pure olive oil.
You can use olive oil for massaging on your face or as a hot oil pack for your hair and so much more! I have been using olive oil for many years and I swear by it.It's a good all-in-one product.
Try this website as it teaches you ways to use olive oil. You can also get FREE samples!

The best way to utilize Olive Oil on your skin is from a high quality skin care line because they have processed the oil in such a way as to deliver the best benefits to your skin.
Try the DHC skin care line - their cleansing oil is amazing. Shu Uemura also has a great line of Oil products. These oil products are maily for cleansing/moisturizing the skin at the same time.

NO NO take that off your face right now or you will have a zit attack tommorow!!! Olive oil is great for every other parts of your body besides the face. You could also do this with olive oil. Put about a teaspoon of olive oil in your hair overnight (put a bathing cap on so it does not touch your pillow) and wash it out with shampoo in the morning. It makes your hair extremly soft

Natural homemade Protein treatment:
Beat 1 egg and add slowly 1 tsp of olive oil and 1 tsp of vinegar. Apply it on hair and keep for 10 to 15 minutes. Apply shampoo and rinse well. This is good for all type of hair.
For oily hair Use any thin type of oil instead of olive oil and add lemon juice instead of vinegar.
If you feel sticky also it is worth to do protien treatement. Use mild shampoo twice and condition it next day

I do not understand how so many people say to not use olive oil on your face. Where I work this woman came in with absolutely radiant skin. I could tell she was older but I had no idea she was in her 70's until she told me so. I had to compliment her on her skin and asked her what her secret was. "Well" she said " I learned this from my grandma. She told me this trick, put olive oil on your face at night and wipe it off with a damp soft washcloth or rinse it off. Just enough stays behind to moisturized while it cleans your face also."
I have done this and it feels great and I wake up with soft clear skin. Please just at least try it you'll like it.

Its ok to use olive oil on your face! Yes, the same olive oil that you cook with! I would suggest using it at night, after cleaning/exfoliating your face. When you wake up in the morning, of course, wash your face (no need for exfoliating again) and go! Try it and you will see that I am right!

Last year I used extra virgin olive oil on my body (except face) and, needless to say, was more than a little perplexed when after a few hours my skin was dry and scaly (???!?!) I tried it on its own, then later mixed it with vaseline, which was better but a bit messy.

Now I used Bio-Oil - much better and smells lovely too.

Use a litte bit mixed with your favourite night cream and in the morning clean off. It is the regular cooking olive oil but must me Extra Virgine, otherwise it may not have a good effect...

I wouldn't put it on your face but all other body parts work!

It is even better for your hair! But don't foget to shampoo afterwords.

I leave a oil treatment on for about 20 minutes and then take a shower and wash it off so it doesn't clog my pores
