And where do you think he will place, going by how is he racing now?

I don't think he'll win it this year but next year...HELL YEAH BABY! I think that he'll get 6th place but I'd love to see him get a top 5 finish when it's all said and done...forget top 5 I want to see him with that Cup series trophy!

There are so many teams that are stronger than Dale Jr's team that it's gonna be extremely hard for them to win the championship. In order for Jr to win, the other drivers are gonna have to have extremely crappy days and he's gonna have to start raking in top 5's and wins! Jr's team has been performing strongly but they haven't gotten the finishes that they need.

So to answer your question, this year no, but next season it's gonna be the season of Ralph Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Man I hope so, but from where his is now it's VERY unlikley. If he picks up the pace then realistically I'm thinking fourth.

Like a lot of people, I would love to see Mark Martin win if not my Chase driver (Jr.---my favorite is Sterling though), I think he really deserves it.

If Jeff Gordon wins the chase I'm goning to put a huge Jr. banner in front of my house and wear my Jr. sweatshirt and walk my dog with his Jr. leash on, hehe.

I actually don't like Jr. THAT much, but you just can't find Sterling Marlin stuff anymore, and he is my second favorite.

i think he may win 1 or 2 possibly.

people tend to compare fathers and sons.yea his dad was one heck of a driver.but so was kyle pettys dad.

neither will ever be close to their fathers records or successes.

i think he will finish 5 or 6 this year.i also think that if he keeps the team together for the majority of his career he will finish in the top 10 mostly.

i think his dad finished in the top 10 every year he raced but 1(in the cup series)

I am a huge fan of Dale's but I really don't see him winning the cup this year. Next year.......then I think he has a great chance. He may stay where he is in the standings now.

we could see in 2004 Kurt Busch in 2005 Tony Stewart in 2006 & 2007 Jimmie Johnson & thats who i've got faith will win the NEXTEL Cup. as far as who will win the sprint Cup...I hate to confess it in spite of the undeniable fact that it basically sounds like Kyle Busch's year.

well so far it doesn't look like he is going to win it all but if he wins Talladega(which he could do)he wouldn't be to far off but he needs for Jeff Burton,Denny Hamlin to have bad races and he will be right up there competing with them for the Cup,but truly i love Dale Jr and i think he will place 3rd or so in the standings at the end but deep down i want him to win it all!!!!!

GO 8!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way Jeff Burton is running I'll be surprised if he doesn't win it. Jr should get a top 5 but I would like to see him pull the major upset and win it all this year.

Junior has no chance this year. He will of course be in the top ten. I would predict the same for next year +-2 spots. I would like to see him win it all and dedicate it to his pops. Hope for the best and expect the worst.

I would have to say no.I hate to say this but results dictate this. His last few years even last year without eury jr have been the same at the end of the year.he only has one win this year same as last year.im gonna say 4th and hope for better but in reality know its gonna take alot to get this thing from jeff burton.he is hungrier than any other driver.

I would like to see him win it while he still drives for DEI. They are going to have to step it up though. Jeff Burton is on fire every week, if he continues I think he wins the cup. My personal fave is Mark Martin, I want him to win it before he retires.
