Its harder when you live with them. But it is better to tell them sooner than later. Just come out and tell them, be direct. I was scared to tell my parents with my first, and I lived with my husband. They may be disappointed at first, but maybe not, give them a chance. If they are mad, let them be, they will get over it soon.
Congratulations, and good luck with your pregnancy, and parents!

if you are almost 20, you are a woman, not a girl. Start leading an adult life. Marry your boyfriend and both of you get an apt, or some type of housing but not either of your parents house. Tell your parents about their upcoming grandbaby. This will be a crash course in being an adult and will set the groundwork for being a responsible mother for your child. Don't act like a little girl telling mommy and daddy that she broke a lamp. You are not in trouble, you are going to have a baby, babies aren't dangerous. They are cute, sweet, and grow up to be a person. I have 4 of them, they are great.

If you boyfriend wants the best for the baby, He will give the baby what they need i.e. a father they can count on and depend on. It would make it much easier to tell your parents your pregnant if you tell them your getting married at the same time.

You are grown even though your parents may have wanted someting different for you, like being more stable or having a life before you take on a life time responsibility. The adult thing to do is to be upfront and straight forward with them, the same way you would want them to be with you.

I would just come straight out and tell them, your a adult now and they should understand. My doctor was the one that told my mom, I found out the same time she did, I was only 17.

you thought you mature enough to have unprotected sex
be mature enough to sit them down and tell them
make sure you tell them FIRST that you are getting married.. then tell them about the Grandbaby
