I am considering trading Deuce to get Roy Williams. And yes, I will drop one or two of my other receivers if I get him. Which should I drop if I do?

My team:
QB: Eli Manning, Grossman
WR: Reggie Brown, Derrick Mason, Drew Bennett, Bernard Berrian, Santana Moss, Chris Henry
RB: Rudi Johnson, McGahee, McAllister
TE: Desmond Clark
K: Akers
DEF: Chicago

I will also have Jones-Drew if the waiver goes through tomorrow, giving me a backup to replace Deuce.

Thank you!

I say pull the trigger, you are weak at wideout no matter what these guys say. Brown is going to put up average numbers,Mason is decent, but on a terrible offense and McNair hasn't looked great. Bennett has no quartback and is going to have a terrible season, and Henry is a third wide reciever, the only reason he got numbers was because he was playing the Browns, and TJ was injured that week. So basically your only consistent WR is Moss. Deuce is pretty much splitting carries with Bush, and I think the Saints are in for a reality check soon. Make the trade. Also pick up K. Winslow at TE if he's available in your league...he's going to have a huge year.

Not a bad idea... do it.

Your only legitimate #1 is Moss, and he's streaky. If you have to drop somebody, drop Bennett or the criminal Henry.

You might be able to bundle a couple of the WRs for a single decent mid-tier WR, or a better TE. Clark has been fine, but that isn't going to last for long with the Chicago running game coming on.

Jones-Drew is a great replacement, as he's a platoon guy too. But, it's only a matter of time before Fraud Taylor breaks down.

Assuming that Deuce is your #3 RB, then i might surely make this commerce. McAllister would be a stable #2 RB for something of this season, yet won't attain #a million RB status. there are basically a handful of elite WRs interior the league nicely worth procuring and advertising a #2 RB to get - Roy Williams is one among them. His overall performance final week became right into a style of issues to return. Detroit will proceed to air it out to make up for unfavorable defence and Williams would desire to earnings the main. do not make this commerce of Deuce is your #2 RB and you haven't got a solid alternative on your roster. it rather is extra handy to discover ok extensive receiver replacements with solid matchups on the waiver cord than it rather is to discover an RB of this high quality. 'desire this helps.

You have a chance to get a top 10 reciever. Grab him! Drop henry (3rd option) and Bernard (not proven consistant).
Roy will be your best receiver on your roster. Consistantcy is the key and he delivers that.
Duece is ok, but he shares carries and will have a few good games. I could depart with him easily.

Good luck!

by trading McAllister, you get awful light at RB and will suffer on bye weeks. You're already deep at receiver and don't particularly need Williams. If you make the trade, dump C. Henry...he's too busy puking out of Odell Thurman's car!
