Can anyone tell me what exactlly happened in the end of S-Cry-Ed?

The last thing after the fight (which apparintly Kasuma won) that you see is them fight forever where there is no people. And Kanami think to her self, that,that was the last time she feelt them. Dose that mean there dead, or stuck in some dimention where they fight forever?

I watch S-Cry-ed and this what happen in the last esipode.

Kazuma and Ryuhou get ready to fight their long awaited battle. Kazuma starts off with the move his brother, Cougar, taught him, Shocking First Bullet. He then kicks it up a notch and uses Annihilating Second Bullet, which hits Zetsui in the face. Zetsui transforms and Ryuhou unleashes his Tender First. Kazuma uses his Terminating Last Bullet. Kazuma then uses his Shell Bullet and Ryuhou uses his Vigorous Right Fist. Kazuma uses his Shell Bullet First and cuts off Zetsui’s left arm.

Mimori and Kanami drive up. Mimori doesn’t understand why they are fighting. She says that there’s no reason. Kanami says that there IS a reason and that she can sense it with her alter.

Elsewhere, Urizane and Eelian are in a field doing some farming. Urizane says that he bets Ryuhou and Kazuma are fighting to find out who’s stronger. He adds that he wishes he could see it. Eelian says that everyone should and they use his alter to show the fight across the Lost Ground. Tachibana and the kid from the arena Kazuma fought at when he lost his memory happen to catch the fight, along with many others.

Meanwhile, the fight continues. Ryuhou manages to chop off Kazuma’s right hand in exchange for what he did to Zetsui. Kazuma, however, can regenerate it. They then attack at the same time and throw each other back in an explosion.

Kazuma dreams of Kimishima and Ayase in a car telling Kazuma that he promised he’d go with them on a job. Kanami appears and says that Kazuma promised to help her on the farm. Just then Cougar arrives and asks Kanami if she wants to ride in his fast car. The four all tell Kazuma that he promised each of them something… Kazuma’s dream ends.

Ryuhou also dreams. Sherrice and Tachibana come looking for him saying that the Commander needs them for a mission. Mimori wishes him good luck and they meet up with the Commander. He tells them that there’s a native alter causing trouble and wishes them all good luck.

Back in reality, Kazuma mentions to himself that the dream was so real, but it was still only a dream. Ryuhou says to himself that all he ever wanted was that and he could have had it if he wasn’t so arrogant. Kazuma says that he’s going to crush through Ryuhou, and Ryuhou says that he’s going to cut his way through Kazuma. The two transform to level three and charge at each other. They head into the air and crash their fists together. They then fly up to space. Kazuma says that he’s going to break Ryuhou with his Proud Fist. Ryuhou says that he’s going to cut Kazuma down the middle. There’s a giant explosion.

Meanwhile, Tachibana stares at his TV in awe, as does Urizane. Elsewhere, there are some kids playing and they look up at the fight. Cougar, who is sitting in a chair under an umbrella, mentions that those two aren’t as good as he is. He mentions to himself that his alter allows him to shorten the world and after saying some last advice to Kazuma and Ryuhou (to himself), he puts on his sunglasses, and dies peacefully.
Back to the fight, the two are back on the ground in their normal forms, alterless. They fight, brutal hand-to-hand combat style. They both manage to muster up a little bit of alter in each of their right hand and charge at one another. They both fall to the ground. Kanami thinks that she is dreaming. Suddenly a hand pops up and grips! It appears to be Kazuma’s…

An older Kanami stands on a hill. She thinks to herself that she will see them again. She mentions that that was the last dream she had about them. Her scarf flies away. It flies past Ryuhou saying that they are too weak. It then flies past Kazuma who says that he wants a real battle. He then punches a stone and it reveals the s-CRY-ed logo.
