If you have skin issues I would recommend an oil free foundation or I love to use the tinted clearasil for a foundation if I am breaking out. You are so young, but you can still have oily or dryness issues and those can be helped with tinted medicated foundations.

I think a VERY subtle eyeshadow is fine. Eyeline and mascara I would save for dances and performances if you are on stage. JUST IMO.

Don;t feel shy to do anything. At a young age,you should shine! Wear eyeliner, clear(not black, brown or blue.Just the gel ones) mascara and compressed powder or two-way cake powder. No blusher as it will make you look too old than ur age. U nd not wear eyeshadow but just fill in from the bottom of ur eye creas with black eyeliner. It will make u look bold, lil more matured but edgy!U GO GIRL!

why do u need foundation at that age.... i mean its not like you have that much skin problems. I understand if u get a pimple here and there and u use coverup.
For the mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow, i guess ones in a while its okay, and nothing too dramastic. I say keep it natural at least till you get to highschool next year , then u;ll have a reason.

Your skin at that age should not need foundation and if you do wear it, it probably won't be the right color and you'll look plastic and fake. Foundation is for people with very unevern skin tones who have something to hide.

Otherwise, it's up to you and your parents. Maybe you could try to get them to agree to letting you wear a little makeup on special ocasions then work up to one day a week, etc. Or maybe your mom would really like it if you came to her and asked for her advice on how to use makeup and that would be a good way to open the door to discussion.

Makeup, too often, covers up the really beauty. Hold off as longa s you can.

You do not realize how precious your age is right now

I swear, anyone older than you would trade the world to be 13 again.

Don't wear makeup, the only thing you should do is enhance your appearance by tweezing your eyebrows just a little bit, nothing more.

You do not have a real sense of what beauty is, yet, but you will be much happier stay young and innocent, no makeup.

As long as it just enhances and perfects you, and it doesn't make it look like you just came from Vegas. Since no one wants to walk arround with a pimple the size of the himalayas, and blotchy-ness isn't that appealing, it's fine to wear a bit to cover that up. (escecially at puberty) Mascara and some eyeliner couldn't hurt. Just save the drama and the more creative ideas of makeup for when you get older.

at first, in simple terms because of the fact somebody applies makeup, would not recommend that they are attempting to 'conceal themselves with a mask'. collectively as some human beings would, that would not communicate for each individual. i discover that very stereotypical and stupid. So does loss of life your hair or donning outfits mean an identical? human beings prepare makeup for many diverse motives; self assurance, test, scars, or like me, to be innovative and exhibit that. i don't placed on makeup on a daily basis. I by no potential placed on it until eventually i'm going out, and in specific circumstances even then i don't. and oftentimes it rather is the completed face. i for my area think of that if i visit circulate by each and every of the hardship of epidermis education, and procuring a number of those products, i'd desire to besides placed some attempt in and make it nicely worth collectively as. I continually placed on much less to college and extra on particular events. in case you often gown it up, you have not something to impact absolutely everyone with once you get the prospect.

Girl, I'm probably older that your mom, and I rarely wear foundation. And at your age, I would wear eyeshadow (lightly) before foundation. The others, ok, but very subtly.

Yes. It is too young. You are still going through puperty at this age. Personally, I feel that you can just try to keep your face clean and clear. I promise that you will look a lot younger then those people who have wear make-up at this age when you see them again in 10 years later. What's up. Just enjoy your age.

No it is not too young! I've been wearing make-up since i was like 9 and i think make-up is fun. Just don't go overboard or you will not look good so keep the colours light and try to find colours that go well with your skin tone.
