Yes, it is possible to become Amish, but you have to sacrafice a lot. I use to work for them and I have only known of one person that done that. You have to learn dutch, and pretty much give up everything, no motorized tranportation unless it's a tractor, no more secular friends...well the would be your friends, but not your regular hang arounds, no more electric, no more choice of clothes, no more phones, church every Sunday, you can't get the law involved in anything even if you know who did it, however you will be taken care of very good with the basic things of life such as food, shelter and clothing!!! In a few years you would never need a TV to tell you what the weather will be cause you would learn to read the weather and probably be better then the weather man on TV. You have got to have a greater love for nature and animals and mankind in general and God to make it!!! If your thinking about joining the Amish...I would suggest working for them for at least a year with no pay from them to see if you will like it.

particular you are able to connect, in spite of the indisputable fact that they don't bypass out finding for persons. even once you like to connect they positioned you thru a great number of artwork because of the fact that's extremely basic to prefer to return. they have lots of persons who bypass to and that they choose for suddenly that they are going to positioned on an apron and return to their roots, and the Amish do not prefer this. in addition they are weary of alternative faiths you have gotten practiced because of the fact collectively as they're Christians, they have some diverse ideals, and in some sects only saying Jesus as your saviour is sufficient to get you refrained from.
