if you goto www.fueleconomy.gov they will tell you what gas mileage you should be getting.

well, it is harder to say without knwing what engine you have, but even if it is the v6, it isn't that bad, considering it is a 10 year old car. I would expect the best you would get would be 17 or so in the city and maybe hit 20-21 on the highway. If you have the 5.0 liter, or especially the 5.7 L v8, then yes, that is just fine gas mileage.

I had a '96. It was a V6 and got about 25-30 mpg, depending on how fast I drove. Now I have a '91 V8 and can watch the needle drop as I go down the block...

Sounds about right. I had a Camaro...got around 18 city, and up to 30 on the highway.

I had an 85 with a 350 v8, and it got 20mpg under normal drving conditions (under 100 kmph [Kanadian Miles per Hour]), but i take good care of it, i rebuilt the engine and ran superclean gas every 5th tank to keep her in top condition

my 82 gets about 8 in town and if im lucky 12 on the highway, but it has a 283 and 3:88 gears

Its better than what im getting. i drive a rusty 69 SS with a 454 and dual carburator's and i drive fast so i get about 12-10 !

yup, that isn't too bad.
I have a 1980 Camaro and it eats gas like crazy...but it has a good size engine and I like to drive with a little ump sometimes.

i have a 02 black conv lingenfelter corvette, ls1, i get 16mpg, i doewsnt matter really, but know this. it actually works by
"putting nitrous in your tires" its much lighter, therefor the wheel spins faster and easier, get it filled at a tire store, wallmart or such
