its probobly in the wrong format. what type of computer it was burned in can make a dif 2. a mac burned disk can be played in a windows, but a windows cant be played on a mac, so when you put your disk in the computer to check the format keep that in mind.

Was your DVD burned in a format that your player can read. When you burn a DVD, you have to specify a format. Your DVD might be burning in a format to play on a computer. Put it into your computer to check the format.

probably plays DVDs but not DVD-Rs which is what you would have used to burn a movie
