A day in Athens (I personally live in Piraeus) is like everywhere else...
We wake up, most of us don't have any breakfast at home except a single greek coffee and then rush to work, where we have our coffee usually with a cheese pie or some kind of pastry (koulouri). Working hours vary depending on the job: ministries and public services work from 07:00-14:30, banks from 08:30 - 16:30, shops from 09:00 - 21:00 etc. We strive to find some place to part the car (we depend very much on our own cars) and then rush to punch our cards.
We work with no break, but this does not also mean that we do not have a snack or something more until we leave... We punch again our cards and rush home, in the middle of big traffic to have lunch and then a litte siesta. In the afternoon we start running after the kids and their homework, children and their swimming courses, foreign languages courses and whatever else we cannot do during the week end.
Saturdays most Greeks go the super market and the fruit markets and in the afternoons we are trying to catch up with our lives, like visiting family, going out with friends for a coffee or to a cinema.
Sundays we linger in bed for some time then go out with the children and friends; it's very common to see two or three families going for lunch (always grilled meat) together.
In brief, that's everyday life in Athens...
What is your project really about?

A day in Athens. Is a very hectic day. There is so many people.
doesn't matter what time or day it is. there are millions of yellow taxis and scooters. which you have to watch for, because they are like an army of ants on a mission.
Athens is very dusty place, reason they are in a type of a gully in the mountain. And from those mountains surrounding Athens you get granite. they have many historical building and monument all over athens. you will never have a problem with transport. You can catch a taxi, mole train, hire a scooter, take the tram or by horse and carriage. The old part of athens is called the Plaka. You will found a flea market there, lots of reasturants and plenty of nice things to buy. There most common and most popular food. You have a chose of chicken, pork or beef strip with speacial made sauce. which contains greek plain yoghurt, diced cucumbers, onions and garlic. Trust its damn nice. And here is an interesting fact about Athens. From January to June all the cars that begin with an even number may travel on any road. The cars that begin with odd number are not allowed on any of the main roads, but may travel on the side streets. then from July to December they changed around. The reason they do this is because there are to many people living in Athens.
Well I hope this helps a bit

Do you mean in the capital, Athens with 10's of thousands of people? Or in a little village like Skoura with about 100 people? They are completely different.

Take English as a project first, and we'll help you TOMORROW.
Anyway, in answer, it's hot and busy and noisy in Athens or Piraeus, and up in the olive groves, it's hot, peaceful and dusty.
On the beach, it's hot, crowded and sandy, they do have running water and you can find an air-con because they have electricity, and they also have restaurants!
