No not at all. I know alot of fine gay people and none of whom are child molesters. However, it does reinforce the fact that politicians will do anything they can and place blame anywhere they can when they get caught doing misdeeds.

People please, stop over sensationalizing this thing! I've not seen anything to support the idea that Foley is a pedophelia. Pedoophelias go after children who are prepubescent. The pages were teens. The fact of the matter is, we have a homosexual scandal here. The age of consent in DC is 16 (what were the Democrats thinking who govern that city?). So unless he clearly forced himself on anyone, there is not as grave of a situation (legally) as it really should be.
As far as your question about gays being child molesters, I've read in the past that only about 10% of the gay community support man-boy relations. So no, not all.

In many states 16 is legal age of consent perhaps he could have had sex with the guy he just couldn't talk dirty to him on-line.Most of these laws are very inconsistent but then again Foley helped pass these laws so its hard for him to argue against them.Is 16 really a child? Is he not capable of making a decision concerning sex? Perhaps the age of consent for all people in the United States should be the same. In Texas the age is17 is a 17 year old that much more mature than a 16 year old that talking dirty is akin to child molesting? I don't defend child molesters but some of these laws do take a thing too far...then again they are Foley's laws. Ironic huh?

No. Gay is gay and pedophiles are child molestors.
Considering the number of men who rape little girls, how would your presumption apply there? Does this mean all heterosexual men rape little girls?
I just don't understand the connection you are implying.

no I don't believe that if you are gay that you are a child molester. Just last week someone very close to me was molested by a perfectly straight man. I am so mad at the guy that I wan to kill him.
