They do have sunless tanning lotions, and try a few if you like to see which one you like best. If you go into a tanning bed, I would start with 10 min and work your way up. There's 2 types of tanning beds to my knowledge, and they are where you stand-up and one you lie down, try both to see which one you like. Both have advantages and disadvantages.

there has been so much evidence that tanning beds are not good for you. skin cancer is a real danger. use a sunless tanning product. I'm fair as well and toyed with the idea of the tanning bed, but opt for the safe and effective sunless tanning. I had so many compliments this summer, the product I used was so natural, it didn't look fake or orange anything like that. I used marykay sunless tanning lotion. check out the website www.marykay.ca/wnelitz

Tanned skin is so overrated this days, in my opinion.
People do all sorts of things thinking it makes them a lot more attractive.
What they don't realise it that, on the long run, sitting out in the
sun or in spending time in the tanning bed can cause serious
problems. First of all, you age earlier, get wrinkles and blemishes.
Secondly, you are more prone to skin cancer. So the only safe thing I recommend is getting a spray tan. Just spray it on your skin and
it naturally gives you a tan without receiving any of the sun's harmful radiation. Bad thing about it is that it doesn't last for long,
so you might wanna stock up.
Hope this helps =)

I use a lotion like regular body lotion but it gradually tans your skin after a few uses. (you can start telling immediantly) A great 1 to try is Skin So Soft.. Go to http://www.youravon.com/kweathers click on the "about" tab first to read about my no credit card needed policy. Search by product number which is 802745 for fair skin. I will give you 25% off if you like it. Feel free to send me an email if u have any questions.

Sorry but the only safe way to get a tan would be to find a completely natural and organic tanning lotion. Everything else is bad.

go to a local tanning bed that also provides professional airbursh tanning. but, if you dont want to pay a lot of money... use the dove and jergens self tanning lotion! they really work! (tip: be truthful to your skin tone when you pick up the lotion... if you have medium skin make sure you get the lotion for medium skin!)
