yes it is,i have an mp3 player and i downloaded all my songs from http://www.limewire.com for free and i mean totally free.i downloaded the "4.10.9 version" cuz that one's free.good luck downloading your musics!!

depends on the site... btu purevolume.com has a lot of free great local bands. if your into rock check out icenine kills and glass intrepid. two of my favorite bands ever!!

most p2p sites are illegal. but i went on pure volume and put some free songs on my iPod video.
