There's been only one (JFK), and the only reason he was ALLOWED to become president was because his family was high society. I doubt anyone from the south would vote for a Polish or Italian or Russian or Greek etc president. I think they need to be a little more diverse with their presidents before just saying "we need a black president".

While I would certainly support another Roman Catholic, as long as the person supported family values and didn't give everything away to big business, nor to liberal lobbyists.... I don't think that the religious affiliation of the next president is really the most important criteria. We need more moderation in this high office, and some very intelligent direction. Race, creed, or sex should have totally NOTHING to do with our choice of a President!

Why not a Jewish president?

Honestly, I am more worried about the person than thier religious views. And as a person, I would hope that they could keep thier own personal religious views out of the decision making processes when it comes to running our country. George W, has done a bad job when it comes to this, hence one reason I personally haven't liked him as our Pres.

Absolutely not. Roman Catholics are forbidden by their pope from doing anything which would support or permit the practice of contraception, including use of condoms, contraceptives or having an abortion procedure done. JFK could not be elected today due to the radicalization of the Roman Catholic faith.

I don't care what religion they are so long as they're qualified and they can do a good job for the constituents and not lobbyists.
