She cannot afford a baby.
She doesn't want to be a single parent.
She doesn't want anyone to know she has had sex or is pregnant.
She is too young or too immature to have a child.
She has all the children she wants.
Her husband, partner, or parent wants her to have an abortion.
She or the fetus has a health problem.

ok before any one makes assumptions---these are my opinions based on MY life experiances-that said:

She is not ready to become a parent.====then she should have protected herself and used birth control-if however the BC didn't work then I think abortion is an option but so is adoption. it is her choice and should be thought out instead of impulsively chosen

She cannot afford a baby. ====then she should have protected herself and used birth control-if however the BC didn't work then I think abortion is an option but so is adoption. it is her choice and should be thought out instead of impulsively chosen

She doesn't want to be a single parent.====if this is the only reason then she should have waited until marriage to have sex however both adoption and abortion are options

She doesn't want anyone to know she has had sex or is pregnant. ====if she is too immature to take use birth control and be responsible for her actions then she is to young to be having sex anyway but still both adoption and abortion are options

She is too young or too immature to have a child====then she should not be having sex! and the parents of the preg. child need to be involved with what is the right choice for her and the preg.

She has all the children she wants.====once again BIRTH CONTROL if that fails adoption or abortion-it is her choice

Her husband, partner, or parent wants her to have an abortion.====it does not matter what the guy says what matters is what the preg. adult woman wants to do -if she is under 18 and not emancipated then she needs to listen to her parents and decide together what is the right option, but if she and her parents cannot come to a comprimise then she needs to find an objective party to assist-a teacher or school counselor for example. she cannot be forced to have an abortion nor can she be forced to give up the child

She or the fetus has a health problem====. this is a hard one I know the parents of 3 autistic children-they made the choice to have all 3 of them even though they knew before birth they would be autistic. they are happy the kids are all high functioning so again it is a matter of choice and what the woman feels is right for her.
She was a survivor of rape or incest====I could not carry a baby to term in this instance, I have been raped and know the emotional trauma I endured. Their are many women who have and do carry rape/incest preg. to term and I applaud them but I couldn't do it.
BOTTOM LINE====sex causes pregnancy and the spread of STD's so use condoms and other birth control methods. ABORTION is not nor should it be a replacement for birth control!
If you can not think ahead of your hormones then you should not be having sex. SEX can kill you now and you won't even know it till 3-10 years down the road when you have AIDS
I am pro choice but also proactive! PREVENTION WORKS MOST OF THE TIME! I had my son when I was a teenager. I was adopted as a child and did not find the experiance uplifting so I would not place my son for adoption as my mother wanted me to do. I also wanted the child so I did not abort it as my grandmother wanted me to do. My son's father and I did not stay together and I eventually married someone else and got preg while on BC but the marriage was unstable and we decided to abort it as we did not want a child at that time. Pro-life(anti-choice) religious picketers were all over and were not kind. We later divorced and still agree we did the right thing. I now have a teenage son and have recently reunited with his father I couldn't be happier but I still don't want to go through bottles and diapers again so WE use birth control!
Abortion should not be a "morality" issue. The decision to have abort or give up a child can be very hard for the unprepared. The hormones are pumping and the unknown looms ahead of you, it can be a very frightening time.

She is not ready to become a parent. Adopt
She cannot afford a baby. Adopt
She doesn't want to be a single parent. Adopt
She doesn't want anyone to know she has had sex or is pregnant. Adopt
She is too young or too immature to have a child. Adopt
She has all the children she wants. Adopt
Her husband, partner, or parent wants her to have an abortion. Adopt

IN THE FORM OF RAPE/INCEST IT IS NOT MURDER! If the female was raped, she did NOT ask to get pregnant. It was against her will.
She or the fetus has a health problem. Have an abortion
She was a survivor of rape or incest. Have an abortion

The top six scenarios are used by women who get abortions as a form of birth control (personally I don't agree with it). #7 is she is influenced by someone else (also, I don't agree with it) #8 is a medical issue (in this case I think she should have an abortion..no sense dying and leaving your newborn without a mother) and #9 is a psychological concern (in this case I think it's OK for a women to abort the fetus)

I don't think abortion should be banned entirely. I think that with more sexual education (abstinence, condoms, STD education) for young people would help with unwanted pregnancies. In the end it's the woman's body and her choice, I may not agree with her choice (especially if she is using abortion as a form a birth control...I mean a condom is WAY cheaper to use than having your body sliced open) but it's still her choice...as far as the "innocent baby" is concerned...well in the end a fetus is a parasite (I know it sounds harsh...look up the word the definition fits) some women want it and some don't. I have enough trouble dealing with the issues in my life I don't have the time or energy to tell anyone else how to live their life.

She did not make the baby alone. Partner chose not to have the baby; why must all the responsibility fall on her? Because she is the woman carrying...is that fair?Big No...Abortion is NOT the killing of a baby...it is the termination of a fetus...An acorn is not an oak tree without the proper environment...it will not survive without the proper environment that can nourish it...The same goes with a fetus...it cannot be viable without two parents willing to take full responsibility to make the child emotionally stable. Anything less is dangerous for mental and emotional growth for that human being.

Abortion is a private matter between a woman and her doctor.
Afterward some women feel guilty others like a big weight has been lifted off their shoulders.
Some class it as murder which it isn't.
There is only biological life in the womb created by the parents,
As God imputed the spark of life to Adam in the first creation He still does up to this day.
If He doesn't it remains biological life and the body does not become animated it is called being "still born.
Abortion is the woman's choice .

In my humble opinion, I believe that abortion is wrong b/c you are murdering the baby even though it wasn't their fault. Regardless of what happened where the mother wasn't practicing safe sex or through rape, the least the mother can do is give up the baby for adoption. The adopted family can then give the baby all the love that they can give, sometimes more than what the mother could or possible can give.
However, if the baby was endangering my health and could kill me, then reluctantly, I would abort the baby. After all, if I was dead, how will the baby be raised? (excluding the father of course).

the problem with abortion is that people don't see the real issue, the question shouldn't be, is abortion right or wrong? the real question should be, should abortion be legal or illigal? you can be against abortion but support keeping it legal. making abortion illigal would not be good for society. if a woman wants an abortion she'll get one weather it's legal or not. taxes would have to increase to pay for the extra unwanted children, there would also be an increase in woman raising children in poverty, and this has the potential to increase crime.

I tried to answer this question from the babies point of view and, what can I say. I am a softie. I could not come up with a single reason why the baby would want to be aborted.

Good Luck

they only halfway decent reason is health problem...if the mother's life is on the line...i think she should have the option....otherwise...adoption would be better for everyone...i can see not wanting to keep a baby made from rape/incest...but....the baby didnt choose that...so he/she should get a chance at life....and as for not wanting others to know she's had sex.....if you're embarrassed about it...keep your legs closed
