Men aren't considered sluts because its acceptable and even applauded in our society for men to be sexual and the more sexual they are then the better. Now for a woman to be sexually active, its seen as being promiscuos and slutty because our society sees this behavior in women as unacceptable. HOw many men does a woman have to sleep with to be considered a slut? 2,3,4,5? And how many does a man have to sleep with to be considered slutty (or whatever)? It's certainly a lot higher than women.

Giving someone a label is about differentiating them - women are called a sluts if they put it about with a lot of men because most women don't do that. Now most men do put it about with as many women as they can and if they don't because they are a "dog" they pretend they do in order to be considered a man.
So there is the problem - to use such a term to describe men would mean calling all men sluts by default and identifying the few who are not - and they are the ones that that do get called "wimp" or "gay" etc

Cause the women don't stand up like they should and slap the pee out of the man that calls her a slut!...lol

Why are women considered sluts--cause men talk about them and call them that when their history is found out and shared(and if the girl turns nasty to her exes-if she plays it right she will be treated with respect and not called a slut)
There are many man-sluts around, it is just how you girls relate to them that they do not get that name applied to them.
they are not considered sluts because you girls do not look at them that way--simple.
A girl may talk like she feels that way around her girl fiends--and then goes and sleeps with him(bad boy , experienced, curious-whatever)
Gay boys are not afraid to call it like it is and you will hear them call other guys sluts.
In other words, us guys know you want it and that makes us NOT- the slut.
you girls can change it--stop spreading your legs so easy.

Cause sometimes women act like sluts. "Slu/t" is gender specific.

That is simply the way it is and has always been in human societies around the world and throughout history..
