okay kind of gross but sometimes (not all the time) my boyfriend will go like todays without a shower. Like tonight. He works outside in painting and sweats ALOT and can really stink. I sometimes have to sleep on the couch. I have done the whole asking once, begging, nagging, rewarding everything i can think of. Now its pretty much nagging and begging. What else can i do? I understand he gets tired and works all day but its gross and i am getting fed up. I don't want to break up with him but just want him to be more considerate. So Help!!!!

#1 Have his clean clothes and a towel and wash cloth, ready in the bathroom, when he comes home. Deodorant, etc.
#2 Be sure the bathroom is clean and neat.
#3 Have some kind of meal prepared for him, that won't be quite ready for a few minutes. Allow just enough time for him to take a shower.

My parents still argue about this and they've been married 42 years. And, would you believe, they BOTH have the same complaint. She likes to shower in the morning, so will go to bed sweaty, particularly in the summer after working, and dad complains. Then sometimes he just doesn't shower for a couple of days, or forgets to wash his hair when he does, and mom complains. I have no idea why they're still together but they seem to have a happy marriage so I'm not asking questions. I guess you will work it out or you won't.

Ohh my, well yeah that sounds like it stinks literally, lol. Well anywho, Kick him out on the couch maybe? Tell him sleep out there if your not gonna shower. But I hope you find a way to get him motivated to do so more often, good luck sweetheart.

Show this message to him. I would hate for a lady to ask me to wash or clean up. That would be embarrassing for me, if a lady told me to clean up. I do not think that I could face her again, if I was not proud of my appearance.
Man, there are not too many women out here in the world that would put up with a dirty man.
Clean up your act, and show your girl friend that you have pride.
Good Luck.

You need to jump on him. He should want to be clen, for the sake of being clean. I'm in Wisconsin, and take two showers a day, one in the morn, and one after work.

If he doesn't wanna be clean, to be clean, then you must really, really either love him or be crazy.

I can't stand the smell of myself if I need a shower, and you tend to get used to your own smell.

Bathe together! Grab a towel and clean him up. Let him know that you don't want to have relations until he has showered. Yuck

Give him some incentive...offer to take one with him and scrub him clean.... could be a wonderful daily thing for you plus less water usage...lol.
