Has anyone else noticed through out history democratic presidents have a hard time dealing with foreign governments.

Republican presidents seem to be friends with the most powerful countries in the world their first day in office, but they don't want anything to do with a democratic president.

Why is this?

The reason I'm asking is because it seems to be a very necessary thing at this time in history more than any other.

This is possibly why Clinton didn't react to terrorist because other countries wouldn't talk to him.

I personally don't think this is a time to be in the dark again, we might not survive the next time considering nukes are coming into the picture now.

Make no mistake...Nukes have been in the picture ever since we dropped two on Japan. Ask anyone growing up during the Cold War.

Do you know Jimmy Carter? He's a Democrat. He made great strides with Sadat & Begin. (Clinton was too busy getting his weenie wacked to worry about foreign affairs.)

How much $$$$$ to you think the Republican Regime uses to grease their slimy dog tails into these "Relations"? They are an Ol' Boys' Club.

Consider that the propaganda you see on these "positive relations with foreign leaders" is not the real News.
You need to pay close attention to BBC coverage if you really want to know how the USA is playing overseas.

It's all about perception.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say as Clinton had great prestige with foreign leaders.....Bush is the one with the mouth who has insulted every leader in the world but England and Israel. Am I missing something????
