Any slow country song by Randy Travis. His music has helped me out many times when I have been down. It feels as though he is right next to you feeling the way you do. My advice,the songs "Promises" and "A Satisfied Mind."

There are plenty of wallowing-type ballads out there and Bette Midler's "Wind Beneath My Wings" is heartening.
