We would not because chances are with that much of a bargaining chip we wouldn't be able to give up what they are asking. They would keep demanding more and more and never give the girls up. Negotiation may be used as a stall tactic and nothing more.

best not to even suggest these things, although you can bet that the al-Qaeda terrorists have considered it already. Certainly the President would do what he could, with honor, to get his daughters back. The key words are "WITH HONOR".

I don't believe that would be possible, by any means. But if it happened, i think Bush would push it aside and keep going after the terrorists, they way he is. He is more of a man of beliefs, and i believe he would die defending them

I think there is a clause somewhere that if the presidents family is kidnapped he is no longer on duty until it's resolved. Like, disability by extreme emotional distress or something.
Im pretty sure they would negotiate though. Just because the president is a dictator like that.
