If you want to spend $3000 per month, I would move out of my house and in to an apartment to let you rent mine.

Personally i think spending $3000 a month on rent is ridiculous. You are throwing your money away. Why not buy a house and actually own something for your money. We just built a home on 3 acres of country land with a full finished basment for a monthly payment of $750. That is money invested on something that we actually own.
