Not Real Sure, I think I have pretty much becaome immune to be scared of horror movies. However, some of the Best that I have ever seen would have to fall under the best Horror Directors of all time. Prety much anything by Wes Craven John Carpenter and Tobe Hooper.

The Original Version of the Texas Chaninsaw Massacre was by far the Best. As was the Original Version of the Hills Have Eyes.

Sean S. Cunningham is another Good Horror director.

Buried Alive and Buried Alive 2 are also Pretty Freaky. However none of them scare me anymore.

"Dude, Where's My Car?"
Seriously, though I have no clue. Being raised on Mike, Jason, and Freddy, there isn't much that actually scares me. On top of that, most of the scary movies of late seem to go more for the "BOO!" moments then actual fear inducing scenes.
"Stephen King's It" will always hold a special place in my heart, however, as I saw it for the first time when I was very young. I've seen it since and actually laughed through most of it, but still I'm terrified of clowns. No matter how often I see the movie, red-haired, white-faced clowns terrify me and I keep that movie close to me... That way it's easier to locate when I justify my phobia.

Although "The Exorcist", "The Ring", "The Omen" and so many others are scary by today's standards, when I was 9 years old I was invited to a party and they showed "Dracula", one version from 1959 with Christopher Lee. Let me tell you that I had to sleep with the lights on for over a year! Today, my 10 year old daughter saw it on a retro channel and nerly broke a rib laughing at what she said was "very pathetic". Well, in 1972 it wasn't

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Johnny Depp being a floppish Michael Jackson clone and letting 5 innocent youth into his castle-like factory....

I had nightmares.

I'll give you a clue, look at my avatar. But some of the old ones that were good were the Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby, and the Omen(the original one) as well.

Oh yes, there will be blood!
