6a+19=2a-33
-19 -19 Subtract 19 from both sides.
6a=2a-52
-2a -2a Subtract 2a from both sides.
4a=-52
/4 /4 Divide both sides by 4.
a= -13

That person before forgot the negative sign. Be very careful of such answers. Missing a negative could mean the difference between an A or B in class. It's quite crucial.
