1) The younger you are, the more likely that you are still changing and discovering who you are. The person who you think is right for you now could not be once you mature and find yourself more.

2) They have looked at divorce rates/statistics, and more divorces occurred the younger the age of the couple.

3) You are more likely to start a family being married, and starting one too early in life before you are ready financially, mentally, etc, can be a mistake.

4) Financial problems can be a cause of divorce, and younger couples who may not be done with college, have not settled yet into a decent career, etc, may not be financially ready for marriage.

5) Getting married too young could cause a person to not have enough opportunities to see whats out there, and realize who the right kind of person is for them to marry.
