need help accessing my old account

Make sure caps lock isn't on. If that doesn't work, youre pretty much screwed unless you can remember any other possible passwords. Someone may have stolen your account, or something. Youre kinda screwed.

Click "forgot password"or make sure the caps lock is off. If you do the "Forgot Password" thing and they'll send the password to your alternate e-mail. Just like try to remember, maybe its a different password youre trying to type in? Think and observe what you're doing maybe differently. Just make sure theres nothing going on when you're trying to log in.

what kind of account? usually you can request your password to be sent to your email (or alternate email) account...or they may ask you for your security question and answer to reset your password...so it depends on the provider/company

Somewhere it suppose to have a link "you forgot your password?" click on it it will send you to your secret question or will send you an email
