let tell you first about chiropractor they are not Doctor,s they do nothing for you they only untested in your money and your insurance money the way they treat you lay down on a bed put hot pad under you use ultra sound message or cold pads they say they will adjust your back or nick they ask you to get treatment 3 -4 a week for 3 -6 month till they accumulate 3500$ -4000$ cause they know they can.t collect more then this amount they only doing this so you can collect some mo ney from your insurance other meaning you are waisting your time and your money and you will never feel better send you to anther doc. and MRI its a joke go first find a specialist to get right the-treatment

I work in an insurance claims adjusting office, and generally speaking, what you do is submit all of your medicals to your Dad's insurance company. They will pay for all of your medicals, then they will send a subrogation notice to the other driver's insurance company (provided they actually HAVE insurance) to collect whatever they pay out for your related injury treatments.

As far as collecting anything else, that's a real crapshoot. If you're unable to work as a result of this/these injuries (as documented by your physician), you'd be entitled to full lost wage compensation. For anything else (read="pain and suffering") - the rule of thumb is that an insurance company will "reserve" roughly 3 times the amount of medical coverage for ancillary claims. So, if the other driver has $10,000 medical coverage limits, then they generally figure roughly $20,000 to $30,000 in ancillary cost payouts.

Really, there are a lot of factors that come into play when assessing a Bodily Injury claim. Talk to an attorney to find out all of your options.

The others person insurance should already be paying. All you should have to do is let them know about it, go through the usual B.S. and they will pay for it all. Threaten to sue if you have too but do NOT sue unless you absolutely have too. Suing will cost you more than it is worth because you will have to pay lawyer fees and court costs etc. And if you sue before you talk to the insurance company you will most likely lose because you didn't do the necessary requirements.

I think you have a very good case to sue the other driver. In the UK there are many law firms now advertising 'No win - No fee' representation, so if you could find a company like that, you'd have nothing to lose.

Good Luck

Not sure exactly how much, but a lot. Definitely enough to cover medical expenses and car damage. I think that a "lost disk" means that a spinal disk (the padding between the spaces in the spinal column) is probably dislodged.

You question can only be answered by a Florida attorney. Most of the people who answer questions in this forum are not attorneys and have no legal training. You are better off calling the lawyer referral service for your local county bar association. See the link below.

You can sue for your hospital bills and you can sue for pain and suffering. and if you have taken anytime off work you can also sue for that but you cannot sue throught small claims court because there is a capital limit

Also for your lawyer fee's

You won't make anything, you may be able to sue for lost wages and medical costs but it will be by far not worth it...
