I do agree with Chris. But if you have your heart set on a new laptop try Walmart. It may not be the brand you are looking and or have the features you want.
Have you tried going to HP's web site and checking out the refurbished ones?

I have seen them around that price and lower at Wal-Mart. If you are looking for a new one.

new? for that cheap? i wouldn't recommend a new laptop that costs that little to anyone...even if your budget is tight

ebay or newegg.com are your best bet, however i have to agree with the guy above
