In the vision there was a form of an eye. Behind the eye, emptyness. In front of the eye, a small moon was half way on the eye and half way in the emptyness.
Does anyone know what this means?

And also, so there are no unneeded questions about drugs, I am not on any form of drugs.

You got so many interesting wrong answers here, there is hardly any chance you will listen to this answer even though it's the correct one. Ignore the "vision" and continue the exercise. Every meditator has visions. Your job is to notice the vision and then let it go. It is nothing more that a piece of mental matter floating into your consciousness. Beyond the vision is a greater level of peace and better control of your mind.

very cool i had a similar vision while meditating before. a large swirling eye came from the sky and it felt like it touched me in some way. what i wroght shortly after is a poetic description.
"i saw the eye of consciousness come swirling from the sky
i touched my soul and it made me cry
then the ground reached up and swallowed me whole
took me to a place where everyone was chasing money and gold
but not a smile on their faces did i once behold
i was then taken from there to a much better place with grass so green and sky so blue air so sweet
to have left the first place i am no sad and the slightest memory of the second makes me so glad."
i believe what i was shown is choice of of my life paths avalible to me at that time. i chose to move to hawaii and be poor for awhile longer. i am happy though and now making money :-)
i do not know what your vision was for but you should meditate on it more and see what else comes to you.

The eye is our human awareness and what we see. behind the eye represents what we don't know, and in front is what we do. The moon that is half and half would be the wonders of the world and all the mysteries of life around us. We only know part of it, and the other half is left in the emptiness, left for us to ponder it.

I am really not that well learned in these kind of things but this could mean that you have achieved a level of control in which you can predict, envision, create, etc. the reality that is around you. It could also mean that you have enetered a part of your mind that has not been used before and holds some new potential in it. If the above is just mindless blabber, sorry. I tried.

My 1st thought was The Eye of Ra..or it could be the Third Eye. Either way, gift of prophecy..very spiritual, lucky you. Keep bringing it back if you can and see where it takes you..if you read alittle information you will be able to determine which eye and why.

Teething problems of Kundalini Yoga. Look at the aim and not what you are passing by. Robert Frost comes in handy,
The woods are lovely dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep.
So, go on your way without distractions. God be with you.

Be prepared for great things coming. Insight in a half moon means half of your life you'll be wishing on a star, the other half means you'll be sorry it wasn't a whole moon..........
