Call the cops. Don't tell him, don't threaten him. Just do it.
Unless you want to be a victim for the rest of your life.

you have to go to the police station and tell them you are abused. He's bullying you and wants you scared so you'll do what ever he says. And where is your mom and why is she not taking up for you? Get the hell out of there, or you press charges on that guy. He has no right to hit you, your mom, or anyone else. That's called domestic violence and you have enough to press charges for assault and battery. A few of those, and he could be in some shitty jail for awhile. While he's gone, tell your mom to move somewhere else so he cant find you-or get a woman's shelter. If your mom is letting this happen, and cps finds out, you could be taken away and put with other homeless teens. You decide. Maybe one day he'll break your jaw or your arms or kill you too. You wanna stick around for that?

If you look like you got hit with a truck, the police will take you out of the home. I know you are scared, but you have to trust someone at somepoint. You need help. Running away will not help you, that will only make the police return you to your home. That is not what you want.
I have one question, Where is your mother? Make that two questions, Why isn't she doing something about this?

Read the book The Gift of Fear by Gavin DeBecker - it will help you understand how to deal with your situation.

If you do run away, plan it out. Think of all the obstacles that my appear. Think where will be the best place that I can go and live, a place where he will not find me. Think about what you need to take and, if you can take it all and still be able to run if necessary. So if you do decide to run, plan every second out, be ready for something to go wrong. What you should not do is just run away. You should plan it all out.

But as you know people (like me) are going to say that you should still just call the police. In the end it will all work out if you just call them.

I don't know if I should say this but I think I am gonna anyways. If you have a safe place to go and people whom you trust get the *uck out of there as fast as you can. Take your self out of that situation b4 it gets any worse. Dont say anything about where your going or who u will be with, just go. Try to be safe and careful. Once your gone and away then call the cops and tell them what has been happening. Press charges of battery and screw him over that way. Just please don't stay there and take it anymore. Your life is precious and you can make a difference in this world someday...

If youre reluctant to go to the cops you should at least tell someone that's real close to you. Talking to someone can comfort you and also give you some encouragement. They sould be able to protect you in someway, whether its helping you stand up to your stepdad or bringing some sort of authority to intervene. Dont let your situation get worse. Let someone know or talk to the police.

hunny ive been in that situation to,

i wasnt one of those that told you to call the cops, coz i know how your feeling and when it was happening to me i was terrified to call the cops coz it would just make him worse,

well running away is an option but that will never fix things,

have you spoken to your ma,

instead of running away i would spend as much time as i could away from the house, like see friends,

see what i did was i would get up and leave every morning by 8am and then wouldnt come home till 11.30pm, that way i avoided him as much as i could and so i never sore him he couldnt do it to me,

it worked,

and then when i had some money to move out i moved out, and now the relationship with him is so much better

good luck

Running away is NOT an option. You will be in a just as bad situation. I know you don't want to hear this, but you need to call the police, whether you're ready or not.

oh honey...if your mom isn't stepping in to stop this, then shame on her...any relatives that you can go to? How about a good friends parents?Let your teacher at school know..the schools have resources for situations such as these..you need to be outta there..regardless of whether your mother has a spine or not... It is never okay to hit another person just because youre mad...and he should be arrested and charged with assault...because he may do it to another person...good luck

you need to get a life outside of yahoo. if you were truly in that situation, your flight reflex would definitely kick in. you should just run away and head for the nearest police station, especially since/if you've recently called them, and let them see the way you say you look. what better proof? you'd be put into protective custody with a foster parent if they could see the physical evidence of your abuse. no better time than the present.
