OK first off there is one picked in each league, so Giambi is irrelevant (and Frank Thomas is a much better choice in the AL anyway) In the NL Nomar has to at least be considered. I would also think about Griffey and even though relievers are seldom considered Joe Borowski has really re-established his career as a closer from out of nowhere. Finally even though I am a Dodger fan I think Scott Rolen probably deserves the award the most.

Nomar's got my vote for comeback player of the year!!! Even though he's still injured, he's had one heck of a season, he hit some clutch homeruns when the Dodgers needed 'em the most. (for ex., when they beat the padres). & not to mention, he hit one 6 days later, also to win the game. Yes, the guys injured, but he's sucked it up & played, when last year he hardly played due to injury. Nomar is back home, in Cali, where he belongs, & hopefully he can stay with the Dodgers, maybe that was his motivation this year, maybe thats why he's plyed while injured & hit those clutch hits. Yep, Nomar IS the comeback player of the year!!!!

That contract was expected to be a joke, and Nomar proved he still has it. Nomar deserves consideration for NL, Frank Thomas for AL is a good bet, specially if he has a good post season.

I think Frank Thomas should get The American League Comeback Player of The year.

For the National League it should be Scott Rolen because he missed almost all of last season.

You could, but I don't think he's back to what he was when he was a Red Sox superstar. I wonder if he will ever be. He's still injury prone.
