Liars! All Catholics do this and of course you won't admit it. It's a big contest to see who can be the most holy and moral. Once someone shows off their virtue, that entitles them to break the laws of their religion while still holding the laws against others. Innocence is the precondition for entitlement. They go around condemning and pointing out other people's sinfulness in an attempt to make themselves appear more virtuous. Once they've done that, it frees them from the default state of guilt that they are in because of their religion, and it enables them to go and break their own law by doing things such as having sex, being prideful and being selfish. It is recquired that they first must prove themselves to be innocent so that they can be empowered to break their own law. They are in a win-win situation when it comes to arguments because they can threaten the wrath of god and they don't rely on reason, just unchallengeable authority. This makes them other person look bad

The Catholic accuser will always end up looking favorable in any case like this. If the other person succumbs to the guilt trip, then the accuser wins. If the other person defies them, the accuser wins also because then the other person comes off looking wicked and like a terrible person.

I am a Christian first and foremost, but I go to a Lutheran Church and that is where I take my girls. My husband will state that he is Christian first and foremost and he goes to Lutheran Church with us, but he is Catholic and goes to Cathlic services whenever he can, but he doesn't make an issue out of it.

Yes, this is true. Catholics who will reply to this saying that it's not true have not escaped the brainwashing to which they've been subjected. Time to break free and think for yourselves, people! Manipulation and guilt are the soup du jour every day in the Catholic Church.

People label themselves catholic because they are members of the catholic church. Conformity is a strong practice in all religious organizations, so I don't see what sets catholicism apart.
Also, how can you manipulate someone by just being catholic? I myself am a member of the catholic church, but that doesn't mean anyone has to listen to me.

I grew up in the Catholic church. Ive never slapped the Catholic label on for conformity or used it to manipulate.
If that is your way of thinking you could say that about any religion..

You mistake for conformity a group of people that have the same basic faiths and / or beliefs. That can be said of all major religions, exept mine of course.
(that last part is a joke if you don't get it I can't explain it)

you need to explain your basis for that statement. i was a baptized a catholic, and have decided to explore other faiths at this time in my life, and attribute that ability to my catholic education, ENABLING me to have my own free thoughts and make my OWN decisions, based on my OWN needs. you can't lump me into your interpretation of my official religion. none of us can be categorized, for that is the basis of our religion. FREE WILL. wanna explain yourself?

I've "Learned" that the larger the crowd, the lower the IQ. The more reliance someone has in a "gang", the more leverage they'll need to use its name in any confrontation when they lack confidence in themselves. Hmmm.
You're going to get "ripped" on this question, you know that eh? Good luck!
