Sounds like Tinitus. Do you not notice it as much when there are other sounds in the area? No cure as far as I know.

I went to the GREEN DAY concert last year and was sitting right in front of the HUGE speaker, needless to say: it was REALLY F**king loud! My ears were ringing for two weeks! I got really freaked out and called my Doctor after a week. They said it was not abnoraml and should just go away. As they said, it just gradually went away within the next week. Good Luck!

If you have been to or work in loud environments such as airports or concerts, then this is a sign of hearing loss. I would have an ENT (Ear Nose & Throat) Doctor check it out. The ENT's would be better to go to rather than your average physical doctor, first bc they have researched into that field. Second, you will find that most regular physical doctors won't know what to do. I would just go see an ENT if it continues.

if it is loud ringing, means u can hear when the enviroment is not very quiet, then go to the doctor
if it's a small ring, means u can only hear when in bad or something while u can hear ur own heart beat, then it's normal, everyone's ears ring that way

It sounds like tinnitus.
Loud music or other noises can cause this condition as well as high doses of acetaminophen or other medications.
If you are having ear pain or any other symptoms, it would be best to be checked by a health care professional.
Good luck to you and turn the stereo down m'dear.

If they're ringing, they're trying to call you and let you know that the ringing you're hearing, isn't normal and maybe you should consider getting them checked out.

Try listening to music or tapping the side of your head. Its usually the absence of sound for a long period of time that does that, even if it's been awhile. It works for me.
