How do u take the console off on a roper(whirlpool) washer machine?

if you can't figure out how to open it what will you do when you get it open? use a screw driver to remove the screws

There 2 phillips screws on the back cormers of the console. Loosten them up but do not remove. Pull console forewars approx 1/2inch and lift up from the front. It will swing back. 2hindges will keep from falling off.
