first try typing 192.168.0.1 into your address bar and press go, this is the default ipaddress for netgear routers, if that does not bring up the logon screen then...

1. click run
2. type cmd and click run
3. a command line console will come up, type ipconfig/all
4. a whole bunch of text will appear in a few seconds, find the line that says
promary dns server or dns server, and next to it is should have some numbers it wil look kind of like this
DNS server:198.168.1.1

5. once you have found this, copy JUST the numbers and paste them into your favorite web browser
6. a dialogue will appera for you to log in, this is how you get to your router

hope this helps

Click on the Start button
Select Run
Type in: cmd
Type in: ipconfig
Should display four lines of information. Last will be the Default Gateway
Open Interner Explorer
Type in the number of the default gateway
Click OK
Your router should come up

I'm assuming you mean you have a wireless router and windows, if you don't, just disregard this.

Go to "Start", then move your mouse over "Connect to" and click on "Show All Connections". In that window, double click on the one that says something like "Wireless Network Connection" or has "Wireless" in the name. That should prompt you for your password to connect to your network.

Do an ipconfig to get the default gateway. That's your ip address for the router.

in Internet Explorer try typing (in address box):

192.168.1.1

or

192.168.2.1

and i think netgear also uses 192.168.0.1

so try one of those 3
