Yes, its true I'm offended by nothing. I've had people even ask me because they have noticed it as well. Is there something wrong with me? Mentally? I'm a pretty secular individual. I know I'm anti-social (not by choice) and going to my mid 20s with never having a relation with a women. People say I'm pretty much a loner. Does all this play a part in why NOTHING offendes me? PLEASE SERIOUS RESPONSES ONLY!!! I BEG OF YOU!!!!

Offended implies a judgment of morality or right verses wrong. Your lack of offense to anything may indicate a very real issue with the ability to feel empathy. A previous poster suggested dissociative disorder and this may be correct and may also explain your lack of relationships or social ties.

Since you posted and asked it shows you are bothered or concerned about your own behaviour enough to seek validation or advice which is a good step.

You may indeed have a psychological issue you should seek professional advice about or you may be one of the rare people who possesses the capacity to internalize data- emotional or external without prejudice or emotional reaction and simply files the information or stimulous into your brain as knowledge. Today it may also be categorized as mild autism.

If you truly feel you have no empathy towards people who experience pain or hardship such a vitcims of crime or even simply someone you know who has had feelings hurt then yes I suggest you seek help. If you do feel things and simply are not outwardly emotional in your reaction (commonly known as offense/defense recognitive behaviour) then no you are simply someone who does not show outward emotions easily.

This may make relationships difficult in life with the opposite sex but honesty on your behalf about not being outward with emotions as part of just who you are will help as well as making sure you communicate your feelings for that perosn in words or actions as best you can.

A generation or two ago men never showed emotions, no crying, no hand holding ect. This was simply thought as un-manly. Today we have male emtional gatherings and crying 'sensitive' men. It is all a matter of perspective today you feel odd man out, forty years ago you would have been labeled a strong man.

You may be part of the group that has a Disassociative Personality.

As long as it isn't overboard to be a disorder - not a problem.
