I agree with Samantha on her contact dermatitis guess.
The same thing happens to my mother.
If you love the watch, try coating the underside with a clear coat of nail polish.
It will keep the metal off your skin.
This also works for paste aka fake jewelry to keep the metal plating on longer and keeps it looking more real.
Hope this works for you.
Oh, doctors do recommend cortisone (over the counter) for home care for the itching and swelling caused by the allergic reaction.
Pick some up but don't go too heavy on it. It does contain steroids.
Good luck.

Your friend may have lied to you. The watch may have come from the warehouse---it wasn't a ligetimate one. The watch is fake! Jewelery is not supposed to break your skin out in redness and little bumps if it is real.Sorry. Oooorrrr you could just have extra-sensitive skin. But i just think the watch is fake

Sounds like classic contact dermatitis (allergic reaction to a substance or chemical).
Something in the metal is bothering your skin, probably nickel. Stop wearing it!

Congratulations! Those little bumps are collectively known as "acne" and help mark the first stage of puberty. While most men experience puberty quite a bit sooner than you are, you can now confidently step forth into the world and proclaim your newly-acquired manhood to all.

Well, my roomate has to have real gold and real silver jewlery. That 'discount' thing sounds shifty to me. You may be allergic to whatever metal they are mixing into the watch. Just stop wearing it. If your friend asks why you aren't wearing it, just say you had a bad reaction to it.

moisture under the watch and then rubbing could be causing this irritation otherwise it could be a allergic reaction to the metal!
