Foley has admitted that he's gay. (I wasn't surprised, he was feminine before this scandal.)

But anyway, it seems like he's trying to make "being gay" as an excuse for his actions. Does this mean he's trying to demonize gay people as molesters? Is he trying to give gay people a bad name? I bet you, most homosexuals out there does not appreciate Foley for saying that being gay is an excuse.

Actually, he checked into a Rehab clinic so he can blame alcohol. He never blamed being gay. That's ridiculous.

Name me one person who gets in trouble who does not have 101 good reasons for doing it.So far he has blamed booze & being molested as a teen himself by a clergymen.Niether one to me makes what he did all right. As for him being Gay that is not a excuse for his actions. As of now the only thing he did was send some e-mails he had no business sending to a minor child. There is no proof that he had any contact with the page except for the e-mails.Lets waituntil the FBI completes the case then judge him. Also to who had pity for his wife , he is not married.

He’s giving Republicans and the Catholic Church a bad call (nicely…ok…he's making their already undesirable names worse) no longer homosexuals. Didn’t you pay attention Foley’s lawyer this afternoon? Now, the mouthpiece assures us that Foley isn't using this as an excuse yet: he replaced into raped by using Priest as a baby. Why are maximum of Republicans and Catholics pedophiles? Why does the management of the two agencies tolerate it? Do they actually condone it? It’s commencing to appear like it. I knew they the two worshipped a rape-torture-kill God and desire to break usa of america by using putting the ideals of their evil God into the U. S. shape the place it does not belong, yet I didn’t comprehend pedophilia replaced right into a referred to as a sacred act.

I did not know foley was gay. most molesters are straight, research has shown this time after time. I think he is trying to excuse his behavior by alledging he was molested by a former priest

I think he is an a$$. He is looking for any excuse for what he did and there is none. He is a sick man, period. It does not matter if he is gay, straight, alkie, crackhead. You can take all those things away and he would still be a sicko. He sould be thrown under the prison.

i think that he gives sex abuse victims a bad name. He's claiming a priet molested him. Although i know that i should reserve my judgement, i think it''s merely a bastardized attempt to improve his image, and it's a smokescreen so that the public won't thinkabout the boys that he psychologically raped.

I don't think he is trying to give anyone a bad name. He got caught and is in deep deep regret. He needs lots of professional help.
