yes you can ,,the 350 will bolt right up to everything you have now, including the transmission and all,, i own a repair shop, and i do this for a living, basically the only difference in the 2 engines is the bore and stroke,,but they ll swap out ,even the bolts are the same it s Chevy,,that's why there so popular,,good luck i hope this help,s.,,PS ,you don't have to change the computer or nothing,,everything is the same on them.

King your an idiot, a 305 WILL never be able to be bored out to 383, hell you cant even bore it out to 350. the 305 and 350 share the same size block but thats it, they are 2 totally different block designs, you start bore it over anything close to 4" and your cylinders walls will pretty much be see thru.

but back to the swap, everything will bolt up an run right EXCEPT the computer, if its a TBI, you will need the EPROM for a 350.
but that will snap into the 305 computer.

extremely some artwork to get a ineffective truck. first component is to stumble on an intake manifold which will settle for a carburetor and also in good condition the engine, second taking a 700r4 out and installation a 350 transmission mistake 700R4 will take care of the 350 engine no mission next would could put in a gas stress regulator to diminish gas to carburetor than next mission. verify engine effortless on once you could run via emission try will not in any respect bypass

yes same setup for both just be sure to change the computer from the 350 engine to the truck with the 305 that is assuming you have a fuel injected truck

oh yeah the King thinks this would be an excellent choice!!

I had a Olds Cut-dawg that orignally had a 307 olds engine

Well I took that out and threw a 305 bored to a 383
350 turbo trans with the shift kit (B & M) mega shifter!!
3:72 rear end from buick grand national!!!
MSD spark plugs

try over 300lbs of torque
over 300 HP to the rear,.........

not a problem but I would take the transmission that comes with the 350 as it's somewhat more heavy duty than the one that is behind the 305

I put a brand new 350 in my '84 GMC Sierra Pickup. Outside of miserable gas mileage it bolted right in!

if you're gonna do it, do it right 400 smallblock with tbi 350 heads
and for the next post it's actually the throttlebody that needs the eeprom as the 5.7 runs a larger cfm tbi
