Ovcourse hamsters have feelings! All animals doo, not just humans! Hamsters FEEL scared so they bite, hamsters FEEL nergertic so they run, hamsters FEEL the need to chew, ect.

No hamsters cannot be trained to do much, but Syrians can be trained to use a hamster potty (very very helpful!!!)

Quite simply - YES!.
All living things, (and no, this is not a "hippie" type-answer), have feelings.
As an owner, (7 over the past ~15 years), of hamsters, I do believe they can be trained. Their cognitive functions may not work on the same level as a dog, cat, or human, but they can be given positive reinforcements to continue on an idea/ thought.
I had one little guy, (Qui Quay), who was the most "intelligent" hamster in the world. He knew sounds I would make and would react accordingly. He "learnt" the difference between the sound of his food bag, (would run about and climb the bars of the cage), and his "chip" bag (would crawl into his house and wait for me to change the cage...
It is about time. You may be able to get a puppy to "shake" after a few days of repetition but a hamster WILL respond as well, all he really wants is to feel safe and, if you provide him with that, you will see he "learns", just like his human will learn about him.
Happy "Hamstering" - Cheers!
(and thanks for caring...!)

Personally, I wouldn't waste my time trying. As for if hamsters have emotions? Probably to a certain extent, I wouldn't go on any guilt trips if one develops an attitude though.

Of course hamsters have feelings! Don't you? Read "When Elephants Weep" by Jeffery Masson. And, yes, they can be trained. I have a long haired male & he will come to me & gingerly take the treat from my mouth. He wasn't born knowing to do that...I TAUGHT him to & rewarded him when he did. Takes alot of patience but by only giving positive re-enforcements, he has come to trust me & will try new things easily.

Hamsters are not the smartest of the rodent group, rats are. And all animals have feelings.

yeah hamsters have feelings.
i.. don't think they can really be trained but my hamster can go up/down stairs. it's really cool. and cute. i let her play on the stairs a lot cause she doesn't like th eball that much and the stairs are safe... and she eventually started trying to go up/down.. she went down the whole staircase once.

Any animal can be trained, given the right amount of patience and understanding of what a particular animal can do and not do.

As for animals having feelings, of course they do, theirs are just much less complex than ours. Their wants consist of food, attention, and sleep, and they can be satisfied very easily.

Play the song "Feelings" by Morris Alpert and if they cover their little ears and try to drown themselves with with the water dispenser, then yes and yes.

do no longer flow everywhere on my own with him, and the subsequent time he does it, slap him. Or kick him in the groin. a final hotel for sure is to tell a instructor. he gets in numerous difficulty with the college.
