What's wrong with Dell?

I think they suck but I buy there computers.

I guess some people think Dell is a company where they want your money well to tell the truth they do. But also Dell is a huge company and I mean huge, think about it Dell produces on average 14 computers a minute, that a lot of computers in one day. Big companies make mistakes, some larger then other some smaller then others. But for the people who think Dells service sucks it does, believe me. The reason why Dell is so un-organized, its two words out-sourcing, thats what causes the problem the language barrier and outsourcing. I like Dells products, but I feel sorry for an individual who has troubles with there computer and are forced to wait countless hours for even a simple reply or guess what? to be transferred to a different department. The reason why Dell sucks its because Dell makes Dell suck. I used to work as a Manager in Sales for Dell and believe me I know for fact that is customer relations.

I paid off my balance and closed my account with Dell, due to usurious interest rates and horrendous customer service. Nearly a year later, I received a bill charging me without explanation or authorization, on a canceled account. At no time did I authorize any charge to the account, or consent to entering into a new contract with Dell. My account was closed at my request, and Dell had no authority to re open it. I have no contractual relationship with Dell. It is not legal to impose a contract on a person without their consent. Dell have never produced a wit of evidence that they have the right to charge me anything or reopen the closed account. Apparently, the law and morality do not factor into operations at Dell.

Dell has consistently failed to produce any evidence of the basis for the unauthorized charges it has illegally made to me, on a closed account, and has insisted that I produce evidence regarding the basis for their own charges. This is not my responsibility. The only response I have received is a letter which reiterates the baseless and unfounded claim that I reversed a payment, and encloses the same bills which I have already disputed. Dell refuses to substantiate its claim, and continues to add interest and penalties to a charge it had no right to make, on a closed account, and without providing any evidence that any amount is owed. Dell's actions are despicable and clearly evidence complete disregard for its customers. Its reputation for ‘bait and switch' and for predatory actions against consumers is well established, and growing.

I have repeatedly attempted to resolve this matter through customer service, only to receive a series of form letters which reflect no interest in assisting customers. I am completely dissatisfied with Dell, and I am intend to pursue any class action I can locate to cause Dell to be held accountable for its theft and unconscionable business practices.

I bought a dell Inspiron July 2014, had nothing but problems since. I spent endless nights on the phone with them. I mean many nights. The first one was a defective one, I sent it back and waited a couple of weeks, and found out the new one they sent to the next street over.
So I spent endless hours with customer service (if you could call it that) to get it working. No help it was still not operating correctly. I have called over and over again, still never to my satisfaction. I have tried everything possible to get this thing to work right, but it just will not.
I called a couple of months ago to fix some new problem, and Dell said their official support is I Iyogi which charged me all most $400.00 for some total support protection. That was a lie too. Beware as this is a scam.
Endless hold times, being disconnected (5 times today alone).
I have probally spent at least 170 hours and $1200.00 on this piece of junk.
Today they told me when I ask for someone in America that is not possible any more.
Microsoft office 13, which I bought new just won’t work properly with this computer.
It makes me sick that a good American company (I thought) is outsourcing everything to India. It makes me feel a little ashamed of America.
I going to fight to get my money back and buy something else, it is really too bad.

a million. this isn't any longer a Mac(way too many Mac zealots in this place) 2. Proprietary factors, this is complicated to apply time-honored industry factors with a Dell. because of the fact they have an inclination to apply custom/proprietary factors this is complicated to alter out factors like the motherboard. as a result Dells are greater durable to enhance. 3. because of the fact of above, Dell desktops frequently can not be repaired by using your close by laptop restoration guy, Dell itself has to repair it. 4. maximum persons say the customer provider sucks.

Dell has been using Intel exclusively. They recently added AMD to their catalog. I think that they got lax because of the good deal they got with Intel. Now they get a much better deal with AMD and have many more clients to choose from. I think this will change their business model and they will go back to being a great computer company.

Dells do make good, cheap computers, but they use propriteary hardware which is why most gamers and case modders say they suck, do not worry about these people, they are all inexperienced and they think that installing a new graphics card and hard drive instantly makes them an expert
