I see no reason to be afraid of homosexuals.
However, I think the terms "homophobe", "homophobia", etc. are fictitious, politically charged, overused and nonsense. The creation of such terminology was and is solely to promote same-sex causes.
I have no issue with them standing for what they believe, even if I don't agree. This is America - and that's what we're about. Doing it without integrity by creating harmful words is completely another story.

No, I just don't like the fact that (generally speaking) most visible and non visible minorities (homosexuals included) ask for special treatment just because they are different. Then when the mainstream society objects we are called racists or homophobes just because we have another opinion.
My advice is: Stop feeling sorry for your self and make your own destiny without someone holding your poor little minority hand.

There is nothing wrong with being homosexual. I dont care about the "Its wrong in the eyes of god" crap. Frankly, i think the big guy has bigger things to worry about really..

WHY WOULD I HATE PEOPLE THAT ARE CONFUSED AND HURTING INSIDE. THAT ISN'T LOGICAL FOR ME TO DO. I HAVE COMPASSION TOWARD THEM BECAUSE THEY HAVE CHOSEN THAT LIFESTLYE OF PAIN AND EMPTINESS.
