your local parts store will sell brake line but i do not believe you can buy premade lines. its been many years since i have done this work but its easy to bend them, its also easy to crease them and have to buy new and start over. any bends should be made around a pipe or other round object. as for wrenches, i would reccomment line wrenches, your parts store should have loaners if you do not have any. size, my guess, would be either 3/8th or 7/16 standard or 10 to 12 mm metric. by 1990 lincoln should be using all metric but who knows. thats something parts man at dealer can tell you. have fun

A ford or Lincoln mercury dealer should have pre bent exact fit replacement lines in their parts dept or they should be able to order them for you.As far as wrench size I am not sure but one thing for certain you will need SPECIAL FLARE NUT WRENCHES to remove the old lines and install the new ones they can be purchased at most any parts store.Another thing pick up a can of PB BLASTER brand name rust buster and apply it liberally to the nuts on the old lines to prevent having the nut snap off.Now if you are talking about the flexible rubber line that goes from the metal line to the back of the wheel they can be bought at any parts store and should be replaced even if you are replacing the metal hard line just so you will not have to do it a month or so later and ABOVE ALL YOU MUST COMPLETELY BLEED THE ENTIRE BRAKE SYSTEM AFTER YOU DO THE REPAIR

I would invest in a complete set of "Line Wrenches". They work best on brake lines because they get a better grip than ordinary wrenches. I don't know exactly what size you will need, so I recommend the whole set. And yes, Some brake lines are pre-made, Check with your local dealer to see if the one you need is available. Good Luck

could be a 13mm wrench, making sure to use a line wrench and premaid lines can be obtained. I would rather buy a line that is the length I need and just bend it gentally to fit. Best if you use some PB Blaster to spray on the brake line fittings and let it soak 10 minutes before trying to remove the old rusted line.

3/8" or 7/16" depending on the line...and you will not get it prefit...that is a tube which you bend and fit to the application...you will also need a tubing cutter and bender unless you are lucky and just get the right length of line
