Top soccer player pay:
Beckham - $28 million
Ronaldo - $19 million
Zidane - $16 million
That's hard to match ...
Triple H made $2 million
Rock made $3-5
Hogan made average of $3 million over 20 years.
The difference is that soccer is a true skill, it's hard to find anyone who's feet can move that fast. It's a competition of skill, and the best people in the world get paid the most money. In contrast, professional wrestling, while definitely physically demanding, would be, if anything, a competition of acting, and even if you act well, you're not going to get paid insane amounts as long as Vince McMahon can kill you off and get a new guy who's just as popular (kinda like the Rock and Batista, very similar characters).

Professional Wrestlers. Why? Because wrestlers sometimes have matches 7 days a week. Soccer players don't have games every day. As for Pay I can't really answer cause I have No Clue what a Pro soccer player makes. Top wrestlers make Millions average guys probably make 6 figures.
