I mean who, does the majority of it? Or, does your spouse even help? I have wondered how other people share the laundry load! I have teens; and they do their own laundry! But, my husband never does it!!

I have been married for 22 years, in the beginning, I did all the laundry. Now my kids are grown and I also work. It is every man for himself nowadays. lol. He pretty much does his own laundry and I do my own. It just sort of worked out that way for no particular reason.

I do the laundry, though my husby has done an occasional load but he does pleanty of other things, some things I despise. he cleans the toilet,I hate that. He'll do dishes ON HIS OWN. Thats his sweet way of thanking me for cooking and chopping all those fresh veggies. He cleans the house,I do,too but he does it just as much. If I ask my husband to do ANYTHING,he does. He's a real Partner,a winner,a keeper!

We split the duties! When the hamper is full whoever is the last one generally knocks out the laundry. Not a bad situation, half the work one way, half the other. For the record, he does the lawn, I do the bathrooms.

I'm not married, but I am in a committed relationship. Most of the time it is 50/50 or whoever gets to the clothes first. Both of us are clean people, so there really are no problems. I believe that a relationship married or not; depends on working together to accomplish something and communication. Good Luck!

I did it when I was married, and I am still doing it now that I am divorced. A lot of my friends don't even know how to do laundry. I learned how to do it when I was in the Army!

I do the majority of it, but I don't mind. I have a certain way I like to do things and when someone else does it - well I pace the floor.

My oldest daughter, who lives with us, does her own clothes because she likes to do her's a certain way. (she is 26).

One of my younger girls (who is 13) will pop a load in when she is wanting to wear something particular the next day.

My husband, who is on the road during the week, will wash his own clothes if he runs out. If he is home and I'm not here he will wash his own clothes. We married so young that I had to teach him how to wash his clothes but he does a jam up job of it now. (i'm so proud)

I do all the laundry....I like it that way....but everybody has a basket...when it starts to get full its their responsibility to carry it upstairs and put it all away....my children are 6, 8 and 13. I dont like to do half loads and waste $$ on water etc... Everybody should do their share....
